The Orange County Infirmary was rebuilt in 1909 and served the community as a county home until 1967. The property, which is is now private residence sits on a 3.53 acre wooded located just northeast of Paoli. When the new building opened in 1913 the facility was said to have been designed to house thirty-eight people. At that time, it was considered to model county home.
