History[edit]
The Boone County Infirmary was first built in 1887 in rural Lebanon Indiana. A second main structure was built in 1895 to replace the first, and a third structure, still standing today, was built in 1947. The building currently functions as the Maple View Rest Home, a retirement county home for the people of Lebanon. [1]
