I grew up in Dayton, Ohio. I was born in 1953. The Dayton Mental Hospital was a very big part of the town's history. I have reviewed the information here about the hospital but did not see any mention of the Dairy. As a child with my family driving down the road in front of the hospital you could see the Dairy Barn. I asked my grandparents about it and they told me that there were some patients that were well enough to have a job on the hospital grounds like working at the dairy and I think there was also some farming done there.
