History[edit]

Glasgow State Nursing Facility (GSNF) is located in south central Kentucky, 12 miles from Barren River State Park and 15 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park. They are a 100-bed long-term care nursing facility for individuals with mental illness or intellectual disabilities. Prior to GSNF's formation in July 1977, the facility was home to the State Regional TB Hospital. Their primary sources of admissions are other state psychiatric hospitals and the University of Louisville Hospital.
