<div style align=center>This is a video of [[Pontiac State Hospital]] shot back in 1999 just prior to the demolition of the majority of the campusAfter the demolition, all that would be left was a small building containing the water supply. A park sits where the Kirkbride and other buildings sat.  The only part not demolished was the remote section of the campus dedicated to children with mental illnesses.</div>

It is part of the "In Our Care," a 13 week series of documentaries filmed inside Iowa's state institutions. The series won the 1952 National Sylvania Television Award for Production Excellence.
