History[edit]
In 1910 a small group of visionary women and men established the Christian Psychopathic Hospital to provide a healing place where sufferers from mental illness could be treated with dignity and respect. Beginning in the pastures of Cutlerville, Pine Rest has grown from the strong roots of a century ago and now reaches throughout several states, providing widespread mental health care treatment.
