The Whitley County Farm was first built in 1936. It served the community as a county home until 2001. The property contains the large, brick main house, a barn, and a pole barn. There is a cemetery for the farm located across the road from the home. The property is currently used as apartments and privately owned.<ref>Hassett, Kayla.
