|Body= [[Nevada State Hospital]] was established in 1885, it was the third asylum in Missouri. Over the years the building lost most of it's distinctive features and ornamentation. In 1991 it was closed and in 1999 it was demolished. The hospital is still active with other buildings on the campus.
