Cemetery question

How do i find out if a family member died or is buried at the Augusta State Hospital. She was a patient there in 1920, at that time she was 70.

Well, one of the easiest ways would be to track down her death certificate. That should give you a good idea where she died and then you can work from there. The question as to where she was buried depends on whether your family chose to claim her remains or not. If they did not chose to claim them then most likely she was buried in the hospital cemetery or the local paupers grave yard. I have a great uncle that was a patient from 1922 till his death in 1951 or 1952 We believe he was involved in some kind of physical attack of some kind. How can we find out why he was committed? No one ever talked about it.
